Professor Allison Waters

Professor Waters is a clinical psychologist specialising in the assessment and treatment of childhood anxiety and improving reach and access to mental health care for young people where they are in their communities.

Professor Lara FarrellLF

Professor Farrell is a clinical psychologist and an expert in obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. Her research involves the development and evaluation of cognitive-behavioural treatments for these disorders.

Professor Caroline Donovan

Professor Donovan is a clinical psychologist and an expert in treatments for childhood anxiety (e.g., co-developer of BRAVE-ONLINE). She conducts research trials of interventions designed to reduce youth anxiety. She also conducts research on body image.

 

 

Professor Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck

Professor Zimmer-Gembeck is a developmental psychologist and directs the Zlab and Family Interaction Program. Her research concentrates on relationships and mental health; coping responses, resilience, and psychopathology; youth appearance-related concerns; aggression; sexuality; autonomy, typical adolescent development; and interventions.

Associate Professor Kathryn ModeckiKM

A/Professor Modecki is a developmental psychologist who conducts research on adolescent risk and resilience. She examines adolescents’ characteristics and settings that protect or propel youth on problematic developmental pathways. She also focuses on intervention and policy in her research.
