About Life-Fit-Learning

Life-Fit-Learning is a fully integrated science-to-service model of care for young people. The aim of Life-Fit-Learning is to improve our understanding of the mental health and wellbeing of young people, provide them, and/or their parents/carers, with feedback and facilitate access to evidence-informed information, community-based and online resources, and provide referral pathways for each young person. Life-Fit-Learning was developed by a group of clinical and developmental psychologists in the Centre for Mental Health at Griffith University. After registering a point in time model of care, Life-Fit involves three digitally enabled steps; Assess, Reflect, and Connect.

Access resources to assist with implementing Life-Fit, making decisions about the best ‘model of care’, obtaining parent/carer consent and selecting measures to be included in the Assess step.

Young people are assessed on their mental health, personal strengths, physical wellbeing, and social wellbeing. Compatible with PC, Mac, laptop, iPad, and mobile phone devices.

Individual and/or Cohort Reflect Reports are generated to provide feedback on the young person’s mental health and wellbeing and sent automatically to nominated persons.

The Connect Step provides a range of evidence-informed resources, links to community-based and online mental health and wellbeing programs, and referral pathways.
